Task
Integrate modern automotive technologies in a small vehicle.A previous project serves as basis.The project consists of three parts:

• adaptive headlight
  
• dashboard
  
• steer-by-wire

Technical Highlights were:

• programming of µ-controllers
  
• developing and layouting of circuit boards
  
• controlling of different motor types
  
• communication through the CAN bus

Adaptive Headlight

The adaptive headlight is designed with LEDs and step motors. It moves in the direction the driver is steering.

Dashboard

The dashboard visualizes velocity and acceleration with the help of needles. The meters are controlled by step motors. The dashboard shows further information on a display.

Steer-by-wire

The steer-by-wire system transfers the steering angle in an electronic way to the wheels which are controlled by a powerful servo motor.
